God’s Perfect Plan For South Africa
– Pearl Kupe
Gates carry a special significance. Traditionally, discipline, justice, and business were conducted at the gates. Whoever possesses these gates therefore determines the economy and governance of a city and nation. This was the basis for a meeting we held in the Old Assembly in Parliament in Cape Town in March 11 2016, which I had the privilege of hosting under the direction of Apostles Chuck Pierce and Emmanuel Kure, international leaders of Global Spheres international ministry under the theme “Securing the Land”. Political, business, and spiritual leaders from all over the nation & neighbouring SADC nations attended. The meeting was followed up by prophetic prayers in three directed areas, Cape Town (Parliamentary Capital), Pretoria (Administrative capital), and Johannesburg (Economic capital) of South Africa. Within weeks, it was gratifying to see and witness change in the form of landmark rulings being made against some high ranking individuals and exposure of “state capture” issues.
In March this year, we received a direction to host another meeting in Parliament as a “follow up” to the 2015 meeting. This time, the Lord gave us Isaiah 66:8, “Can a Nation be born in a Day?” Once again, God directed His perfect plan and programme for South Africa. Specific leaders spoke and prayed for South Africa, including Apostle Emmanuel Kure from Nigeria, Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng, DA Leader Mmusi Maimane, & ACDP leader Kenneth Meshoe. Prayers facilitated by Apostle Linda Gobodo were led by various leaders for unity, land issues, righteousness, righteous leadership, and for revival in the land. Suzanne Botha, daughter of former President PW Botha, attended with her pastor and testified of how the Lord directed her to attend the meeting and release a prayer. The meeting closed with eight shofar blowers to release South Africa to make a new sound! As the land prepares for the coming elections in 2019, let us arise to secure the land in prayer and possess the governance gates. KeNako!
