Young Israeli volunteers traveled to one of South Africa’s poorest areas to lend a hand!

Heroes for Life (HFL) was created by three Israeli post-army officers. After completion of their service they traveled through many third world countries and were deeply saddened by what they saw there.

These officers realized that there was an opportunity for post-army volunteers to make a real difference in the world and HFL was born, offering organized trips for young Israelis to help in some of the most impoverished communities across the globe.

Volunteering is divided into two main tracks, with one focused on teaching English, math, music, and personal hygiene to local children, and another devoted to renovating and improving the children’s living conditions.

Watch now and see the amazing things these young Israelis are doing!
