My Money Is On Israel – “Until The Time Of The Gentiles ….”

I rejoiced when I discovered this. –

This brings hope for the leaders of Israel! I wish our leaders would follow this example.

  1. Jesus never rebuked his disciples for asking this question of Restoration of Israel. Instead He said, “it is not for you to know.” By implication, it will happen

Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”
He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authorityBut you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1: 6 – 8
20“When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. 22For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. 23How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. 24They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. Luke 21: 20 – 24

  1. Remember their eyes have been blinded for a season as prophesied.

37Even after Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him. 38This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet:
“Lord, who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”h
39For this reason they could not believe, because, as Isaiah says elsewhere:
40“He has blinded their eyes
and hardened their hearts,
so they can neither see with their eyes,
nor understand with their hearts,
nor turn—and I would heal them.”i
41Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus’ glory and spoke about him.

John 12: 37 – 41

  1. The time is coming when all Israel will be saved.

25I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26and in this waye all Israel will be saved. As it is written:
“The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob
27And this isf my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.”g

Romans 11: 25 – 27
Marantha, even so come Lord Jesus!
