Next year Mighty Families will follow up the 2017 It’s Time event!
Ollie le Roux’s farm will once again be the venue for a gathering to help build the Kingdom of God and to establish God’s plan for our country.
A Mighty Families conference is planned for March 2018 on the former Springbok, Ollie le Roux’s farm, Wildeals, near Bloemfontein. This is also the venue where Angus Buchan hosted the It’s Time event earlier this year.
One of JOY! Magazine’s contributors, Dr. Arno van Niekerk, a senior lecturer and economist at the University of the Free State, and chair of the MF committee said: “Mighty Families promises to be a special experience in the presence of the Lord. Our country is going through a worrying time in which family structures are falling apart. The heartbeat of Mighty Families is to bring restoration in families, to save marriages on the verge of divorce and to unite the hearts of children and their parents.”
“The vision of Mighty Families is to encourage South Africans to put the emphasis on good Biblical family values. The country must be rebuilt with strong families.”
He says the emphasis will be especially on diversity and that everyone is welcome at the occasion where there will be ministry in the Word and worship. There will be several recognised speakers from different racial groups; Angus Buchan is also invited as a guest speaker, but it has not yet been confirmed whether he will be present.
The event will be held on Wildeals from 16-18 March. There will be 20 000 camping sites available. Individuals are also welcome to attend.
Come join Mighty Families to make a meaningful contribution to South Africa’s healing – with reconciliation between different racial groups, in families, and in marriages.
