I Will Write Something

– by Tralone Lindiwe Khoza

I will write something when no one understands
When no one can stand
I will write something
When many and others can’t see a way out
I will write something when life is hard
When the cataclasmic events of my life

Makes no sense
And problems are dense
I will write something on these walls
When bread is scarce and there is no rand in the bank
But only God to Thank
I will write something when all I hear is critics.

I will write something when I lose
So I can loosed from the noose
I will write something to soothe the soul
To forget the pain of yesterday
So I can destroy the mould of injustice
Of not being good enough
Where is no owl to hang upside down?
And the shoe does not fit
And no one to mow the lawn

I will write something
When no one supports me
I will write something when my own body fails me
I will write something when I ‘m in despair
And I can’t find an aupair and
there is  means to repair
I will write something when they think my book is useless
I will write something to glorify Jesus Christ.
