“I believe that everything in my life up to now has been preparation for what lies ahead, and will have a great impact on the world and create a lasting legacy for generations to come.”

Pierre Oosthuizen received the call of God in 1983 shortly after being filled with the Spirit. He and his wife Karen attended Ev Nicky van der Westhuizen’s School of Evangelism in 1983 and enrolled in the Rhema Bible Training Centre in 1984. While still in his second year at RBTC he began pastoring Carletonville Christian Church. After graduating with a ministerial diploma in 1985 he left his career as a Civil Engineer for the full-time ministry and was ordained by Ps Ray McCauley in 1986. He spent seven years in Carletonville and during that time served as a regional co-ordinator for the International Fellowship of Christian Churches.

In 1993 they joined Christian Heritage Church in Krugersdorp west of Johannesburg where Pierre served under Ps Pat Godwin as a pastor and bible school lecturer 20 years. During this time Pierre became involved in senior management in the Direct Marketing industry. He has travelled extensively for business and ministry and has preached in Portugal, England, Lesotho, Swaziland, Mozambique, Singapore, Hong Kong and China.

In 2009 while at a CfaN Fire Conference in Cape Town the Lord birthed in Pierre’s heart a powerful passion for the lost and began to prepare him for the calling of an Evangelist. Pierre founded Sons of Abraham Ministries in 2015 and began holding open air Gospel Crusades in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. He currently lives in Tzaneen with his wife Karen. They have been married for 41 years and have three daughters and two grandchildren.

He is passionate about the lost and believes that this is the most important season of his life and ministry. “I believe that everything in my life up to now has been preparation for what lies ahead, and that Sons of Abraham Ministries will have a great impact on the world and create a lasting legacy for generations to come until Jesus returns for His bride.”
