Play Your Part In Bringing His Will To Pass
– by Tamryn Klintworth
A large misconception in the Body of Christ is that when we pray for His Will to be done, such happens automatically, regardless of our co-operation or involvement. No, dear friend. Yes, we are to pray, “Your Will be done!” But then, like Christ, we are to play our part in bringing His Will to pass. When Jesus surrendered Himself to the Father in the garden of Gethsemane, beseeching, “not as I will, but as You will,” He still needed to play His part by going to the Cross.
The manifestation of the Will of the Father required the co-operation of the Son. It is the same with us. God wills that every precious soul be saved. Our responsibility is both to pray and go. We pray for His Will to be done, and then we share the Gospel with as many as possible. Consequently, His Will is done. At In His Name, we are committed to praying and going. This January, we would like to bless some JOY! readers with my book, Spirit of Fire: Receiving His Power, Pursuing His Presence. It will get you going for Jesus! The first five readers who email my team at firstname.lastname@example.org and share with us how they plan to shine even brighter for Him in this new year, will each win a book. Together, Africa shall be saved!
