All Paths Lead To God

– by Grant & Theunisina Neyt

We have all heard people say that all paths lead to God. We have normally dismissed this notion offhand. However, there is an element of truth in that saying. We will all meet God one day. We will meet Him in one of two ways, as our judge or as our Father. That is a sobering thought. In what capacity we meet Him is dependent on our choice here on earth. God has provided the Way, the Truth, and the Life to meet Him as Father.

We can reject this gift and God is met as judge. We can accept this gift, by faith, and we meet Him as our father. John 14:6 says, “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” What makes this saying that we are discussing so poignant is the fact that those who use it are genuinely seeking God. We sometimes miss that fact. It is not how we can prove that we are right, but how can we point these precious people to the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
